Who We Are
Our mission is to create new pathways using technology to help individuals communicate, learn, and think.
C[u]SCode - See.Us.Code ... (See Us Girls code - CS Code).
As we all are becoming more aware, we are realizing that being Tech savvy is now imperative, irrespective of gender or the field you work in. Our CuSCode projects strive to bring awareness to an arising global consciousness.
One of our CuSCode.org's main objectives is to prepare girls to thrive and lead in the Tech workforce by keeping them informed on recent technological advances.
CuSCode was founded in the year 2020 by Aasha Yeluri who was a junior in JP Stevens High School, Edison, New Jersey at that time. Aasha is currently a sophomore at Cornell University (College Of Engineering), majoring in Computer Science. Right from elementary school, Aasha was fascinated with Technology. Aasha's love for computer science allowed her to learn and experiment with basic coding skills using Block Programming, Scratch and websites like code.org from a very young age. Aasha, an active girl scout since Kindergarten worked on her Girl Scout Silver Award project titled C(u)S Code. This project focused on teaching younger girls basic coding skills. After receiving her Girl Scout Silver Award, Aasha pursued her Girl Scout Gold Award by developing a project "Together We Code, Together We Create" that helped micro businesses build web sites to improve their business in the difficult times of the Covid-19 pandemic.
To advance her programming knowledge and skills, Aasha has learnt C++, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, Java scripts, machine language and AI. In High School, Aasha was actively involved in computer science clubs like Cyber Hawks and Girls Who Code. In Cornell, she is an active member of the Women-in-Computing club. Aasha is fascinated by the fact that by having a computer with a decent internet connection, her own creative ideas can actually solve practical problems. Aasha aspires to build her own company, C(u)S Code, that will utilize her passion for computer science and technology to narrow the gender gap and help girls and women of all ages embrace these fields, and believe in their ability and potential.

Our very first project was a teaching project, CusCode. It was done as part of achieving a girl scout silver award. Elementary and middle school students were taught the basics of coding using scratch and code.org . Please visit https://cuscode.weebly.com/ for more information.
We worked on a few research projects as well: Sublimity Project, Covid-19 AI & ML Research Project, Streaming Services Choice Research Project, Diffuse map project are some of the research projects we worked on.
We developed web sites for Micro Businesses that were impacted due to the pandemic and launched websites for the below micro-businesses.
